Yes, and the double came with Oscar or Livingston?? Those guys aren’t the right duo for doubling at mid court and leaving their guys open for lob dunks.

That's how all college teams usually trap like that on high pick and rolls.

Its almost like you're wanting them to play a high school press and run with their guards, which doesn't work at this level and why no one does it through games.

You can't trap a guard as good as Nowell, it's a death sentence.

Exactly what I’ve been saying, why didn’t Cal make an in game adjustment then???????

Cal didn’t adjust one thing, instead of passing the ball out of the trap Nowell simply started attacking the 4/5 in the trap and beating them off the dribble, Cal never did adjust to that!

He really can't win with some of you guys.

He adjusted by trapping in the first half, which wasn't working at all cause Nowell is so good, so he stopped trapping it.

And yall wanna say he didn't adjust, but then when some point out, yall say, well he didn't adjust good enough. I sometimes don't understand that we watch the same game. 

You can't trap a player the caliber of Nowell, especially when they are playing lights out.

If you check the final complete game stats even though Kentucky had twice as many turnovers as K-State most of Kentucky's was in the first half (11 out of their 16) Kentucky actually outscored K-State 15-14 on points off turnovers. They both had 40 points in the paint and Kentucky outscored them by 10 on 2nd chance points (17-7). The bottom line they made some big key shots before we had to foul (especially the back to back 3's) and we missed several wide open shots the last 3 minutes then they did what a good team should make their FT's down the stretch.

For all of the Matt Jones Disciples out there, here is the 2nd half shot chart. Just 3's and layups. I'd like to swap a few missed 3's for a couple made 10 foot jumpers.

Okkahoma, Syracuse, Oregon, South Carolina, Loyola, Texas Tech, Auburn

Kansas State scored 29 pts the first half and didn’t make a jump shot!!
