I think those are district decisions so they vary from location to location.

It's been told that he would have to step down and Parkey would be the HC.

 

 

 

Taylor County made an excellent hire in the offseason by adding DC, William Harris.  William played at CU for Perry Thomas. When he and I worked together at Mercer , he did a great job, first with our frosh/JV program as head coach, then in 2021, was our defensive coordinator.  Very creative, works extremely hard, super intelligent, and great relationships with the kids.  When he was an assistant for me, he constantly wanted more work and more feedback on his work.

Sometimes I had to tell him..."What you have here is great! Relax! I have to get to work on the offense and you are a million miles ahead of me!" Lol

The guy is a buzzsaw who absolutely loves kids and football, 24/7. 

I've been around some excellent coaches in a lifetime of HS football. William would rank among the best of the best. He will make an excellent head coach in the future. 

His impact at Taylor County will be both massive and positive. A game changer for the Cardinals. He is that good.

Very tough schedule I would say 7-3 would be an excellent season. I would have loved for them to be playing Campbellsville as well.

They should be competitive with everyone except Boyle I think that was biting off more than they can chew they will probably get smacked around in that game as a lot of programs do.

Believe it's a district game, no choice in the matter. More like being force fed prunes if you get stuck with them.

My mistake I didn’t know that was a district game that’s a pretty rough draw.
