Rules Question

During the Lloyd vs. NewCath game this week one of the NCC players fouled out.  Coach Luhn called his team over prior to subbing.  Three of the Lloyd players followed and basically stood in the huddle watching and listening to what coach was telling his team.  I am assuming the opposing team has the right to be “in the huddle” because it is not an official timeout?  I have never seen it done before but the officiating crew did not say anything to them.

Not illegal, but certainly cheesy, and about what I'd expect.....
