Conner (2-8) will make the trip to Lexington to take on the #1 ranked team in 5A the Broncos of Frederick Douglass (10-0). This will be a tough task for the Cougars of Conner who have lost the last 4 games including a  31-0 loss to GRC this past Friday night. The Broncos are riding high heading into the playoffs coming off an impressive 37-6 win on the road at Boyle Co. on Friday night. This will be 3rd time that the Cougars have played the Broncos with the Broncos leading the all-time series 2-0. This more than likely will be the Broncos 9th running clock this season. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00pm and can be seen with membership on the NFHS Network.

FD will score quickly each time they have the ball. 

Conner should leave early.  Have a good meal and take in the sights because it gets ugly around 7:00.

 

Along with the above announcement comes the news that the FDHS Boosters organization has re-grouped and decided to rename themselves the FDHS Casually-Interested Supporters.

Bring your own food!

If I wanted to bring in fresh hot food would I be allowed? Basics only being sold because no one wants to volunteer to work the concessions at a school this size is embarrassing. It's like when the local youth teams needs parents to volunteer to work the chains and they all sit in the stands looking at each other.
