Color me impressed.  Best team I have seen in a while.  I couldn’t find any weaknesses.  I really don’t see anyone in 5A beating them.  Defensive front was really good!  Tackle well.  Tip of the cap to them and look out 5A.

Best complete team I've ever seen play Boyle this century or maybe even longer.  Like someone said earlier, they where faster, stronger and just plain better than us in at position.  I see no one stopping them in 5A.  

Thank the lord we will not see a team like that the rest of this year in 4A and can now get back to business.

I said it in the updates and I’ll say it again. Frederick Douglass did to Boyle County this year what Boyle County did to Frederick Douglass last year.
 

I think Frederick Douglass may be the best team in the state. They looked good at every position. Their line was absolutely huge. And every player was hungry for revenge. 
 

Boyle County lost their starting QB so that doesn’t help them going forward. But I trust Justin Haddix in how he will utilize Avery Bodner at QB. Good news for Boyle County is there no team in 4A that could compete with Frederick Douglass so they will not see a team of that caliber in the playoffs.

At one point this season Boyle had 4 former QBs on the field at the same time. Dawson, Bodner, Sims and Quisenberry.

With Lex Cath losing tonight, Boyle is still able to secure home games in the playoffs (outside of round 2) despite the blowout.

I only say that because St. X defense held Frederick Douglass to field goal in scrimmage. I know things change as season goes and scrimmages aren't gold standard but that result is consistent with how St. X defense has played all season.

FWIW, the starter against you guys in the first half of said scrimmage hasn't started since then. But hopefully in these upcoming seasons we become regular season opponents.
