Not kicking the field goal was the wrong decision. Do not pass up the points in the NFL! 

That doesn't mean the Bengals win. It changes the play of the game and multiple decisions in the game after that. But it was a bad decision.

That was about as dumb as a sequence you will see from a head coach. Almost as dumb as Brandon Staley's decision to go for it with a two point lead in Browns' FG range, but he was at least taken off the hook by the kicker missing the game winner.

There are a collection of coaches that weekly making head scratching (i.e. dumb) decisions and Taylor's performance yesterday gets him a standing ovation in their universe.

It wasn't just the FG, it was the double-reverse pass attempt where they lost 11 yards on that started the mess. And if I have to see another attempted shovel pass from the two yard line I'm going to scream.

I agree totally! In the game the Bengals averaged 4.8 yards per rush and they have it first and goal from the 2 and don't run it one time!

100% agree with Zac Taylor the head coaches decision to go for it on 4th and goal. 100% disagree with Zac Taylor the offensive coordinators play call decision for that 4th and goal. Taylor the HC is good and I agree with most of his decisions, Taylor the OC though is not so good. Both can be true!  #Bengals

As I have said before after watched Marvin Lewis for years ALWAYS play it safe and conservative. That I would always much rather my coach be aggressive. With them being on the road and a yard or two away from taking the lead at the end of the game, I am all for being aggressive there. Especially considering your defense was playing good, and that you would have the Ravens pinned inside their own one if they did miss. So I already see most people on here already think they should have kicked it, but I am fine with the decision. Now the play calls down there, I completely disagree with.

The Bengals seem to have a pretty good game plan against Jackson.  They rotate a spy and try to keep him contained.  I saw Pratt, Wilson, Hendrickson and Hubbard all spy him at different points.

The stats may be crap but I felt Lamar made the plays he had to make.  He is a difference maker for sure.
