Anyone who thinks BC will win easily against BG is in for a rude awakening.

Just saw a pretty big speed gap. Thought special teams was pretty indicative of it too. That being said, I can’t speak for how they’ve improved or not improved. So maybe @Cheese is correct that they deserve to be in that discussion. I just would happen to disagree.

Only my opinion. Have nothing to gain or lose from how I viewed Scott County. 

I was at that BG-SC scrimmage too.  I was really impressed with the SC OLine.  I though they did a great job and had some good play action plays.  But I have to agree with @BillNyethat BG had the speed advantage and their skill guys overall were obviously better to me.  But it was just a scrimmage.

Has SC done enough to be in the 5 spot over BG?  To me no, but they are in the conversation.

I think CCH should be higher than they are, but it will be tough for them to jump all the way to #2. I think the top 4 all win this week. It is hard to leapfrog teams that are winning.

All due respect here Bill, the “score” of the varsity portion of the scrimmage was 21-14 SC and the special teams were “dead”… SC has D1 corner, D1 DE, 3 fast backs, and a solid secondary. Franklin County and Bryan Station have some elite speed as well, though their records are not good at the moment. Just don’t see the night and day talent discrepancy at all!

I must’ve been watching a different scrimmage. There is quite literally a highlight of a kickoff return touchdown for BG on their Hudl against you all. You sure you were at the scrimmage?

Secondly, Bryan Station gave SC everything they wanted and them some. The same BS team that got dismantled by Boyle. Boyle plays Bowling Green this week. We will find out more very soon about how this will all shake out.

Yes I was there. Should’ve been whistled dead like every single other special teams play that night it was a mistake by the officials. But that’s besides the point, I was questioning the “night and day” talent statement with what we know about both teams, I just disagree.

And that's fine. Bowing Green is much better than the Bryan Station team that you all just had a slobber knocker with. BGs athletes/talent will see how they stack up against debatably a top three team in the state this Friday. We will see how it goes and I believe we will get a better understanding for just how good Bowling Green is or isn't.

I don't disagree with you and for everyone else CovCath being too low has been a topic of conversation for us.

If Seneca defeats Southern, do they get any recognition for a 5-0 start? Their opponents thus far aren't impressive in the least bit, but 5-0 IS 5-0 (provided they win this Friday).

I did a quick scan, Seneca is not currently on our long range radar but they probably should be, thanks.

Seneca has played not just a cup cake schedule but a super cup cake schedule so hard to say how good they are. I'm just happy they are having good season since have had some rough seasons.

Owensboro is rated way to high in this poll.
