Highlands will not overlook Raceland because of who they are and what size. If Raceland wins it's because they were better. The Highlands kids have been reminded that you just don't Win because you're Highlands. It is why you play the game.

I have the same question BirdDaddy.

After being embarrassed by South Warren the Birds played Simon about even and took care of business against Campbell.  I don't think there is any reason to believe there will be some type of meltdown this week against the Rams.

Highlands is getting better each week because they're finding out what pieces fit where. Glad they didn't start district play Week 1.

I am pretty sure there was a post on here recently that was multiple pages long talking about how much daddy ball was being played at Highlands.

I am thinking not.

I watched Raceland’s games vs Russell and Ashland. I’ve seen all 3 of Highlands games. I think Highlands wins by 2-3 TD’s minimum. 

My ratings favor Highlands by 2. Calpreps calls for Raceland win. I'm looking forward to seeing which one is right. Will be good win for whichever team wins.

Raceland hasn't had to many games where they’ve had significant travel unless it was in the playoffs…. Racelands longest trip over the past few years dating back to 2013 Williamsburg,2018 Somerset and Pikeville, 2019 Pikeville, and 2020 Washington County and Danville. Raceland is 2-4 in those games with with its wins coming against Somerset by 2, and Washington County by a running clock.

So in my opinion they will have a tall task to win this one. What is the actual ride for this trip?

I agree. There would be absolutely no positive way to spin a loss for Highlands in this one. 

I would think Highlands handles Raceland fairly comfortably. Then again, one would assume Covington Catholic would have beat Pikeville comfortably and didn’t, you just never know. 
This is a very interesting game to see how good Raceland truly is. The longer they hang around the worse it’s going to be for Highlands. Should be a fun night in Highlands regardless. Good luck to both teams and hope they come out injury free and better for the rest of the season.
Will this game be streamed anywhere? Would be a fun one to watch.
