Final from San Francisco Duke is headed back to the Final 4. Duke advances to its 17th Final 4 and another record for Coach K who will be going to his 13th Final 4.

What a hideous beating. 
 

CBS must be dying knowing they are about to miss out on the first ever Duke/UNC matchup in the tournament.  In the year Coach K is retiring.

So much talent on Duke. Silly good on the talent. Five first rounders and Roach isn't one of them. Seriously, if Duke doesn't win it all, it is almost embarrassing. Coach K's second Final Four in the last 11 years. Makes you wonder about the one and done recruiting strategy.

I don’t think you’ll have to worry about losing to either one of them. Kansas in the finals, that may be more of a game.

I’m not sure people understand how much - on paper - Duke is a mismatch against the field. They have as many guys that will play in the NBA than the other Elite 8 teams combined. I’m not sure anyone on Arkansas will be in the league.

Where you really notice talent gaps is on the defensive end. Several plays the Hogs drew up to perfection, getting to the rim beating their guy. But the athleticism allows them to make up the defensive lapses and redirect shots. There’s a reason Kyle Wiltjer was able to guard on the perimeter his Freshman year… AD was there to protect the paint.

Which brings a question to mind for you. Coach K is the GOAT. He has as much if not more talent than UK over the past 10 years. Why does Duke only have one Final Four in the previous 10 years?

The Fighting PP92s continue to impress.   Super-talented youngsters manhandle good upperclassmen this time around.  It doesn’t always work out that way.

Having the most talented team doesn’t necessarily translate to Final Fours and Championships, as far as Duke having the most talent for the last ten years is a very debatable issue as different folks have different opinions on talent but I appreciate your assessment, Coach K gets more from his kids than any other coach ever, period, so I guess maybe some bad luck and opponents that were better might somewhat answer your question.

Didn't get past the first weekend three times in those 10 years as a #3 seed or better.

The tournament is damn tough to win and as you've pointed out, damn tough to just get to a Final Four even.
