I saw that last night as well and I'm rather bummed. I'm going on a cruise to the Bahamas in June and have always wanted to go on one of UK's summer trips.

 

With that said, I like Calipari announcing the trip so early while the guys on this years team are still trying to decide what they want to do moving forward.

I feel like that Bahamas trip has paid big divdends in the past for getting all the guys on the same page, so I am pleased to hear that's happening again this year.

Players are only allowed to go on one out of country preseason trip during their time in college.  So if they went on one at their previous school they couldn't go with UK.  

Explain this to me again - why was Shaeden Sharpe at UK?

More and more it feels like he graduated early, and enrolled at UK, so that he would have the requisite time beyond his high school graduation so that he could be eligible to be drafted this year.

That was the intent from the start, some just ignored the obvious bread crumbs. In fairness, the NIL stuff gives more of a glimmer of hope, but Sharpe was able to take on a Paul Bunyan status this year without stepping on to the court.
