3-star recruit out of high school.  Ranked #191 in the nation in the 2021 class according to 24/7.  Averaged 6.6 ppg & 5.1 rpg as a freshman this year.  Strength is on the defensive side.

I listened to KSR today for the first time in about 2 years.  But I actually listened to the Friday show after the St. Peter's loss.  Matt Jones opined that UK would pursue Johni Broome at Morehead State.

Don't know if he got that from a source, but that's what he stated.  He also said that he's not as close with the coaching staff as he once was.  That Calipari became upset with what he felt was excessive criticism. 

Jones also predicted Dontaie would be the only player to enter the transfer portal.  Says TyTy and Sharpe will go pro but he expects everyone else back.

Again, this was the Friday show.

Jones predicted a starting lineup of Wheeler, Wallace, Livingston, Oscar, & Toppin.

I could definitely see where a rift was forming between Jones and the Coaches. Over the past few years, he went from a super fan with a platform to more of a local sports reporter with no problem calling out the coaches.  It happens.

He said he has been critical but not nearly to the extent that others have been.

Haven't listened to his podcasts unless someone else had it on. But as for the players returning I wouldn't be surprised by one more transfer,  the rest is what I expected.   For some reason my friends are all in on Oscar leaving Lexington this year and I'm just not seeing it. I said he would probably stay and play for the local YMCA if they could pay 6 figures.  He is just not like most others.

There was disagreement on Keion Brooks.  I think Ryan felt like he would transfer.  I know one of them thought that.

Meh, if you're part of what he's being critical of, that likely means nothing.  His responsibility to recognize as much and I'm sure he did.

Agreed, how many of them say it to his face without a few pre game drinks in them?  When Jones says it, it's not just to Calipari, it's to hundreds of thousands of people.

What about Brooks.  Loses his starting job to Toppin?
