Who and why?

My vote goes to the Steelers. Defending champs don't sniff the playoffs. Plenty of reasons to choose someone else, though.

Probably should have added Carolina to the list; lots of folks were touting them as potential conference champs at the beginning of the year.

I think it's obviously the Bengals and close behind the Steelers.

Carolina or Pittsburgh...

Falcons.

Started out the year strong, brought in big time free agents including John Abraham, led the league in rushing, and not even in the NFC playoff hunt????

Bengals, Steelers, and Broncos are all disapointments, but playing in tough divisions in the AFC garners a little less criticism then the lowly NFC.

It's got to be Cincy and Carolina. Way to much talent on both teams to not make the playoffs

I'd have an easier time selecting the Bengals if they missed the playoffs with fewer injuries on the O Line. It was by far the group that led the playoff charge and division title in 05, and it was filled with inexperienced but talented backups all year...

Denver Broncos - they only allowed like 2 TD's in the first 5 games, and look at them now.

Dallas does not surprise me, they now have the team wrecker.

Panthers, a lot of preseason mags had them in the Superbowl.

The Carolina Panthers.

Carolina was a major underachiever, along with Atlanta.

The Tampa Bay Succaneers. Losing seasons 3 of the last 4 years. It's starting to feel like the 80's again. I wonder if they'll bring back Buccaneer Bruce? :scared:

Since I only care about one team, there's only one answer: Marvin and the boys.

Giants and Cowboys do not belong in this list. Both are PLAYOFF teams.
