Was a crazy game at the end, but still one hell of a game and a way for it to end!

  • Incredible game. Hate the outcome. I’ll forever root against the Chiefs because of Mahomes brother.

  • Worst coaching decision by the Bills.  Not making KC return the kickoff with 13 seconds to play in regulation.

But how about those overtime rules?

Terrible. College is much better but they need to tweak a few things too.

Make both teams play offense and defense in the OT.

It’s like two golfers in a sudden death playoff and both reach the green in regulation and the one with the longer putt makes it and the rules officials says, “We have a winner! He made his putt first. Match is over.”

Honest question here:  Why don't they make it hard for receivers to get off the line anymore?  You never see a DB trying to make contact with the receiver at the line.  Everyone in the country knew that the ball was going to Hill and Kelce on that last drive in regulation but they did't even try to make it hard for them to get downfield.  Especially when you have all those guys playing cover 3 or 4 deep.

Here is a totally off the wall idea. I’ve seen the Ravens do it. The Chiefs were out of timeouts you have all your corners line up and on the snap just grad or tackle each receiver. That’s a 5 yard holding penalty plus the clock runs until the end of the play do that 3 times and that probably ends the ballgame.

Someone can correct me on this, but I think you can only do it "intentionally" one time before it results in a personal foul. In your scenario the Chiefs probably get the ball to midfield for a Hail Mary. Much better odds for the Bills than allowing the Chief to do what what they did.

Found the rule. The first one would be permissible. The second one would result in a 15 yard penalty, and the clock is set back to where it was. So in short, the Chiefs are probably around midfield at the 7 or 8 second mark. Which is practically where they were yesterday.

Romo touched on it...the Bills should have made them return the kick (just nowhere near Tyreke Hill) and burn clock.  The other big mistake was single covering Kelse on the 1 WR side and rushing 4.  The ball has to come out quick...Rush 3 or even 2, and press everyone at the line of scrimmage with 3 deep help over the top.

Poor Coaching in the last 13 seconds of regulation.  They were already celebrating the win I think.

Ok thanks but they could have done it once and there would have been 8-10 seconds left and the ball at the 30 yard line.

They probably make it into Hail Mary range, but not FG range. I agree.

Something that's not getting talked about today, which somewhat surprises me, is the non-call for taunting on Tyrek Hill on his touchdown play.  Let me be clear upfront...I think the rule flat-out stinks and is 100% stupid.  That being said, how does the NFL say that Hill's "peace" sign was not directly aimed at the Bills' defender?  I am glad it was not called, but how can the league defend the rule when they don't enforce it in the most critical situations.

As far as kicking, they would have had to kick it deep enough that they’d be forced to return it, but not deep enough for it to possibly end up in the end zone. Squib it they pick it up and immediately take a knee which burns maybe a second. Pop it up and they fair catch it which burns no time. So while I agree just blasting it into the end zone was a bad call, there are situations where kicking it doesn’t necessarily burn any time off the clock either.

Does the NFL have the same fair catch rule as NCAA on KO's?  I am not sure...

I do know that professional kickers can do just about anything you want them to with a football and place it anywhere you want...

I also think for a strange reason, the Bills lost track of the fact KC might try for FG range.  That last completion to Kelsie was way to easy for that situation, but they were playing so lose so no one would get behind them...

Just a strange last 13 seconds...almost as strange as Tampa going 0 coverage with a safety covering the best WR in the league?

Sitting there and watching it until the very end, I feel like this game was the greatest sporting event I've ever watched.

Geez Louise, what a game. Mahomes brought the Chiefs back from the dead.

I doubt he actually said it in the moment, but I live what Andy Reid said, "When things are looking grim, be the grim reaper"
