Frankfort and Franklin County should play every year in all sports, I agree. 

There's very little I would be shocked about when it comes to people talking in Frankfort. I lived there for 17 years, and that's one of the main reasons I never looked back.

That shipped sailed the year FC had 8 kids who had been in the FIS system.  For accuracy sake, the 2 schools didn’t play regularly until Foley started playing them.  Coach Webb only played FC 9 times.  Teams are in classes for a reason.  The smart move is to play schools of comparable size.

For the most part I would agree, but there are the outliers in the state that this isn't the case for.

Teams play up in class all the time, especially good teams. What good does playing a 1A team that you'll beat by five touchdowns do when you have one of the Top 4A programs in the state five miles down the road?

There is no desire to play this game from the FCHS Side. These two schools are no longer comparable. FCHS has VERY different goals than those of the team down on the river.

Ha, name those 8 did they actually live in that district, and had they ever been in the FC district at anytime?

I had no idea until I saw his commitment video, but apparently Moorman is/was an FIS district kid. A player like that would help Frankfort tremendously. 

I am speaking of when they quit playing us, the actual year they stood us up. Who were the 8 kids?  Moorman is not a FIS kid. Living there at one point in your life doesn't make you that districts property... Both schools have kids who live elsewhere at the moment, its a very small town as you know.. When the FYFL was still going he played for the Bengals who were supposed be mostly from downtown areas. Never played football for a single Frankfort Ind. School. 

 

With the right hire the Frankfort - Franklin County series could restart. But first The new coach would have some rebuilding to do. 

As for the current search for a new coach there are some quality coaches that have surfaced. The pool actually has just gotten interesting. 
 
This info is from 2 people that have told me they applied. They also have been called for interviews.

I didn't say he was anybody's property, just pointing out that at least at some point he lived in the FIS district, I don't pretend to know his exact situation. 

If he (or any player) lived in the FIS district and decided to go play at Franklin County, that is an FIS problem, not an FC one. More power to FC.

Coach Foley did what was best for his team.

Franklin county offense looks nothing like  Beechwood or Mayfield...
