Two well deserving recipients. Congratulations to both.

Congrats to Isaac, I think he is deserving and a great player. I do wish however, they would not have given the award to a 5th year senior. No one asked me and my opinion doesnt matter. That is not a knock on Isaac at all, he is an outstanding player.

    Congratulations!

Congrats to both. Dixon leading Belfry to a state title makes him a very worthy choice.

Is Dixon the first EKY recipient since Scotty Russell?

What an honor and well deserved award for Dixon.

I am not saying Dixon was the best recruit, best athlete, or the best player on the best team…. But for my money no one was more valuable to his teams success.

Kash Daniel was pretty recent and Tim Couch was more recent than Scotty Russell, but I can't name the years.

Of course they were the AP Mr Football and Dixon is the KFCA Mr Football, a relatively new award.

Couch was 1995 and Daniel was 2015. Dixon is just the fourth EKY player to be named Mr. Football (AP or KFCA) in 35 years.
