I fully expect Mayfield to lose before facing Beechwood. That is the way it has gone over the years. The years that Beechwood is the clear favorite to win, Mayfield gets beat before they would play Beechwood. That is another part of why Mayfield has their win streak over Beechwood. 

First chance to respond since last nite’s game was completed…it took awhile to eat all the crow that I had in my mouth. Sokolowski won this game for the tigers…played a fantastic game. We honestly had no answer for him. No excuses…we got beat. This ends my career as a score predicter…?

Surely you didn't expect to be perfect predicting scores? No one is and this game was predicted wrong by almost everyone.

Yup - it was ugly early - LCA let off the gas mid way through the 3rd and had JV in. The whole Murray v Mayfield thing seems to be playing out just like last year. Close games with splits. 

Very impressed with Sokolowski from Murray. I think he is now 5-2 vs Caldwell and Mayfield. Not a bad resume. Playoffs gonna be fun!

Mayfield and Murray are different teams from last year. Murray is a ball control team that doesn’t throw a pass. Mayfield is better than they were last year. Mayfield didn’t play good last night maybe it’s a wake up call or maybe they will slip into mediocrity  , it’s up to them. It’s State Championship or bust. It was a very long shot they were going to win one anyway. The best thing that could happen was to get a home game into the State Semi finals and possibly beat Beechwood but it’s not going to happen.

Decent size. Mayfield didn't adjust and Murray kept drives going. They converted several 4th down plays. They only punted once in the game and never threw a pass. They would eat up 2/3 a quarter with the ball.
