The Murray qb was absolute magician with the ball running the option. Nearly impossible to defend. Never seen anything like it.

Maybe but Murray only 2 timeouts.  Either way, 4 downs up the gut would have wasted a big portion of remaining time and leave Murray with almost no time and 50 yards to score.

I really like Murray, and hope they get Mayfield again in the Playoffs, but not a single team in 2A ls on the level of Beechwood and LCA this year. I’ve watched both, and they are top 15 teams in the entire state of any class that I’ve seen. 

I said before this game that the scores Mayfield has won by leave a lot to be desired if you want to beat LCA or BW.  A lot of teams they beat are down and they didn’t pulverize them.  See Tilghman, McCracken, Caldwell.  They are a good team but doesn’t look great.  I still think Mayfield to the semis where they will be disposed of.

No doubt Beechwood and LCA are the best but I promise this Murray option is going to give someone fits if they haven't prepared for it or played against it. Its the best I have ever seen.
