I agree, not even close. 

This game was very difficult to watch. Not only is the offense offensive but the defense is non existent.  

It's pretty wild how fast a fan base can go from Highlands is back, to we are terrible in a matter of a few weeks. I think some should pump the brakes and give the staff some time to build the team. It isn't like they are being beat by 30 plus every week. Each game had been competitive and they haven't been blown out, its going to take some time.

Anyone from Highlands has to be realistic and concede this year ain't happening. 

A 4-7 record is likely at this point with 2 losses to CovCath (reg season and playoff) plus a setback at Cooper.

I wonder if that game has running clock potential. 

I have some suggestions; all is fair game.  Simple suggestions you don’t punt on the team.  In districts you play your horses that got you there.  Some players were missing during key drives.  If you are getting pounded and your run stopper is on the sidelines, makes you shake your head.  I expect more and it starts with accountability and this wasn't a talent difference.  Noon hasn’t been up to snuff.  Tackling was terrible once again.  Some players were rested just sayin.

Highlands has a run stopper?  

It is true that Rome was not built in a day and old habits die hard.  Very disappointed in how things have steadily gone downhill since the McNick game.  Seeing a lot of the same things that were evident the last few years.  Tackling is awful and special teams are non-existent.  The level of enthusiasm and hustle that were evident the first four weeks has fizzled.  There is work to be done and I might suggest rather than worry about CovCath, you start worrying about next game on the schedule.  CovCath has not been the team holding Highlands down.   As for tonight, why do you punt with 4 minutes to go in game down 8?  Why do you go for two when you score go ahead touchdown?  Why do you not load the box and take away the rpo?  Just some questions I have from the cheap seats.

Great questions, I totally agree.  Conner has no passing game load the box. MLB doesn’t play 5 yards off the ball.  Kick extra point.  Let’s not get cute.  Look at the first series second half and look at the rest of the game.  It should be easy to see.

So which player gets to run onto the field with that chunk of wood after this week? What's it called? The tooth pick?

Run stopper on the sideline?  You can’t be serious?  The only run stopper they had was #30 who also played running back the whole game and was probably a little bit tired for carrying his team on his back.  Where is Hosea?  Where is Richter?  Why wasn’t LaFrange on the field?   Stop with the excuses, we are sick of hearing it.
