Boyle will see if it's run game defense has improved since LCA.

Gave up as many rushing yards that night as they did all year last year. That's crazy when you really think about it.

  • Hendo a big 6A school always has size and speed.  Williams is the fast back and they have a D1 D-lineman - Saadiq Clements.  They love to grind you, slow the game.  They live to hit so I think this is

  • I love the logistics to this game as much as the matchup itself. It's a 7:30 Central Time (CT)/8:30 Eastern Time (ET) kickoff.  It's a 3 hour hauling butt ride on a bus from Danville to Henderson

Being a Central Hardin fan, I am rooting for a physically and emotionally draining  game that takes a lot out of Henderson County! Yes, we have them next week.

Yeah, they were caught off guard with the total change in offense from LCA, but the lack of adjustment at half was concerning.

I'll be honest, I have no idea if any adjustments were made or not.  Probably shouldn't have phrased that way.  But the fact that the run D didn't get any better and force LCA to do something different was concerning.  Boyle never set the edge all night.  The fact that it happened in the second half as easily as the first was concerning.

Boyle put in Rahbany and Sims at linebacker and took out Gillis and Smith.

Little history:  Boyle QB Jagger Gillis passed for 209 yards when playing for Anderson County as they defeated Henderson 21-17 in 2019.  One of the lone bright spots for Anderson that year.

I saw the Henderson Co vs Calloway Co game.  I honestly wasn't impressed.  A couple of horrible calls that went Hendo's way was the difference.  They struggled that night with the Lakers.  Also, not playing due to Covid is a negative in my eyes. Boyle Co will have a better showing after being exposed on the ground last week.

I'll take the Rebels big.

Boyle 35

Henderson 14

I would love to see Clements and Zeismer go at it. They will be a fun match up to see!

I know nothing about Henderson County other than where it is.   Do they have a turf field?

No they have a grass field, normally the field is in pretty good shape.

I have no clue.  I just seen the link posted to the Boyle fans online.

Interesting. That's always been a strength of Boyle County in the past. Just because it worked in the first half doesn't mean it will work in the second half. That said, Lexington Christian is a terrific team so it might not have mattered. I'm intrigued by this matchup but I suspect Boyle wins going away, something like 42-21.
