April 1, 20215 yr Steve Robinson has been the lead assistant/recruiter under Williams, just finishing his 18th season at UNC. I always thought Davis was a bad commentator which I automatically assume makes him a bad assistant coach. Obviously that isn't fair.

If he were to get it, I would be willing to bet it is because they missed out on their bigger targets.

Yeah I don’t think Mark Few should ever be brought up in conversations anymore for top jobs. He really has zero reason to leave anymore. He now has built Gonzaga into a consistent top ten team. It is also going to continue to be a place where transfers will want to go, and now also starting to get top recruits. He can win titles at Gonzaga, and won’t have insane fan bases to deal with. There is zero reason for him to leave, unless he simply wants a new challenge.

Not sure people understand how hard it is to find a suitable replacement at these big time universities.
