It’s sucks that they did lose Lawson. However, they did sign one of last years sack leaders in Trey Hendrickson to a big contract. Very similar to the one Lawson signed. 
 

Have to assume the Bengals offered Lawson a similar if not higher contract. So it looks like Lawson simply just chose the Jets over the Bengals.

I saw that last night. It sucks that we weren't able to get him, but that is left tackle money. You figure Jack Conklin got 10M per year last year in free agency as a tackle and Thuney is getting 16M a year as a guard. Again, sucks that we didn't get him, but I don't know that the money makes sense. Grab some vets and other positions of need now and build the OLine in the draft.

Bengals sign former Cowboy CB Chidobe Awuzie.  Don't know what the terms are.  But, I'm going to assume they feel they're not going to be able to re-sign WJ3 now.

Now the Bengals have signed former Pittsburgh CB Mike Hilton.  WJ3 gone for sure now.

Didn't realize Hilton was a slot CB, so that means that Alexander isn't likely coming back.

After spending big last year, I thought Mike would sit on his hands this year.  I was wrong.

I saw the Titans have released Dennis Kelly.  He started all 16 games for them at RT, playing over 1000 snaps.  He had 2 penalties and gave up 0 sacks.

Is there anything prohibiting the Bengals from going after a guy like this.  I know he's 31, but heck, Whitworth is pushing nearly 40, isn't he.

Same.  It wasn't the same AJ Iast year that we rooted for before.  Don't know if it was because of the injury, age or just desire.  (Or more likely, a combination of all three.)

Probably somewhat under the radar, the Giants signed John Ross to a one-year deal.

And, as many have probably heard, Andy Dalton inks a one-year deal with the Bears.

Hope he does well, but honestly, they should have traded him 2 years ago and gotten something in return.
