Quagmire
Slow start to this one. BC led 13-7 after 1. Panthers hold Polar Bears to 3 in the 2nd quarter and take a 20-16 lead at the break. Blake Reed scored his first points of the night 4 minutes into the 3rd quarter and catches fire to bring BC back from as many as 13 points down but Kason Hinson dropped 12 of his 24 in the 4th quarter including the game winning free throws with 2.8 seconds to go. Reed’s heave at the buzzer was short to give Augusta the win. The Panthers are now 5-2 and play at Fleming County on Saturday. Bracken County falls to 2-7 and travel to Pendleton County tomorrow night. Augusta (58) Ka. Hinson 24, Ky. Hinson 16, Snapp 14, Archibald 4 Bracken County (57) B. Reed 25, N. Jefferson 14, C. Augusta has had success lately in this rivalry going 17-5 since the 2010-11 season including two district championship wins.

Of course, part of that run was with August's "once-in-a-generation" team from a few years ago. That was a fun team to watch.
BigRob
Maybe it's just really good coaching in Augusta too
