McCracken County has thought about it a lot as trying to entice teams to come and play multiple games on weekends has been difficult since most don't want to travel and get rained out.

I've heard several mentions in the last couple of years that Coach Krumps is open to the idea of a turf infield, simply because of the upkeep requirements that won't fall on his shoulders any longer. I haven't heard a definite yes or no at all.

Thought I’d revisit this and get an updated list of turf fields (and which ones are infield only or whole field)

In the 3rd Region, Catholic has turf infield, while Apollo, Daviess County and Owensboro have complete turf fields. 

In Warren County there have been facility upgrades at all 4 schools.  Greenwood, South Warren, Warren East and Warren Central now have turf infields and bullpens. 

14th region there is Wolfe Co.

5th Region all turf fields- Campbellsville and Green County.

Turf infield is Taylor County.

North Hardin has turf around the bases and plate (all grass infield).

Adair and Larue have turf around the plate.

And Nelson County and Washington County will both be building new fields soon that are expected to be at least turf infield.
