There will always be those loud naysayers in the background that have NO CLUE on why we should pay a football coach X amount which in their eyes might seem off.  For the majority of people (and taxpayers) I think they understand....

And to @theguru point of view Fort Thomas probably should invest more than the $16K that's on the table.....which I think you and I would agree with that assessment.

 Maybe Highlands should put off this decision for another month, get up to about 2000 replies and a 150,000 views and really show everybody how good this job is.

Admittedly, I don't have a name for who the hire is. But as everyone has stated, everything I've heard has implicated that Principal Bertasso has been doing all he can to scrape together funds for Chris Wolfe. Steve Lickert's name came up plenty. It seems like Bert Bathiany has all but disappeared from the conversation. Clay Clevenger has obviously been mentioned in the last week, but he seems to show more interest in staying closer to home in Danville.

A few other names that were in the discussion previous to "the Eddie James experience", which I've not heard mentioned after are Jamie Reed, David Fulcher, and an unknown high school football coach from Evansville, IN. As I understand it, there have been some new interviewees that were brought into the scenario after Eddie James stepped down.

One name I've heard mentioned recently, without any substantiation as to whether or not he interviewed, is Mark Peach.

Also, I really feel like there should be a cover band called The Eddie James Experience playing at the Fort Thomas Pub sometime soon.

Completely an aside, but I want to give some cred to @mooremiller31 for this post. Dude definitely was subject to some hard scrutiny when he initially posted it, and I don't believe anyone (myself included) ever went back and acknowledged that he had the right scoop.

I think it is more the entertainment purpose this thread has brought people, rather than the caring. 
 

People really could get a bowl of popcorn, and sit down and start from page one and it would be like watching a movie. Highs and lows, conspiracy theories, dramatic twist that no one saw coming, mysteries, trying to guess what different things mean, and we haven’t even gotten to the conclusion yet. People are on the edge of their seats waiting to see how this dramatic movie will end. It definitely has been an entertaining thread.
