Estill County's Coach Marcum tweeted out this morning that they have voted to end their season. They were #5 in the district I believe and with #3 Garrard already opted out they would have been in the playoffs I think playing at Rockcastle Co. I now think #6 Jackson Co. would now move into that slot. Estill only played 4 games this season. I hate that for their seniors.

It is confirmed for Holy Cross.  Too many quarantines.  No positives so far, but the quarantines  through contact tracing have decimated the numbers on the team.

At least Holy Cross can say they won their last game.  They had a homecoming night and a Senior night.  That's a positive.

I was told Campbell County has called it a season as well.

Fairview has decided to cancel their season now as well.

It’s time to reduce the number of teams and accelerate the playoffs. Take the district champs (using rpi if there wasn’t a head to head matchup to break the tie), and get this season done in 3 weeks. Teams have come too far to just end it, but the current situation is not going to allow any normal kind of playoffs. 

It’s also probably officially time to start worrying about getting the winter sports in.

With the amount of teams that are eliminated each week I don’t see why you can’t have a semi normal playoffs.

It’s going to be ok my friend. Gotta have COVID luck these next few weeks.
