Thinking of the Colonels very deep roster, with the addition of Rylee, the rumors of the mysterious big man from Ohio, and the two above average New Richmond brothers....one has to wonder who suffers the most in the Colonels' depth chart?

Then one has to wonder if some of those VERY talented kids who will now be losing major minutes - along with the end of the depth chart who will now be intramural beasts - consider other options? Will be interested to see the fall/winter transaction page for schools in NKY.

I feel bad for the kids that have grown up always wanting to play for Cov Cath and has worked hard to achieve it, only to have these transfers come in. Sure they are building a strong team, but they are going to lose all those young kids that are good, but not good enough for this particular coach. They always had a strong team, even when they didn't have these "transfers"

What's to say the bus won't keeping delivering kids to CCH?

Skyler Schmidt is the Ohio kid who just came over. 6’8 kid from Clermont Northeast. Averaged 25 and 16 last year. Plays on Chandler Starks AAU team.

Not that it matter but Chandler 2023 Bates and Skyler 2021 True Game are not on the same AAU team.  Cov Cath with the addition of the two bigs plus Chandler is going to be scary!

Not on the same team, but same AAU club. Chandler talked him into coming to CCH.

Schmidt is also going to play football- was at practice yesterday. He is a wrecking ball with his size at DE/TE.

Covington Catholic was already going to be very good this year. Now with all the new additions, especially the bigs, I don’t see too many state teams that can challenge them. They’re going to be ultra talented and deep.
