A trend for college basketball as a whole.

We had a guy quit mid-year, a transfer from Bucknell who was a key player, and another 4-star who tried a one year internship for playing time, then saw the incoming roster. That would have been a crazy post in 2009. College b-ball certainly has changed.

What has impacted college sports as much as the transfer portal? This is going to keep growing like the coronavirus.
It’s crazy. Recruiting rankings mean less and less because of the amount of transfers. Much rather take a risk on a solid four year guy than a gamble on a reclassified 17 year old.

Calipari said he is, of course, leaving the door open should Juzang decide he wants to stay at UK. Juzang and his family have said they want him back on the west coast.

Looking at the roster for next year. Playing time could be just as hard to come by, if not harder. There's talk that Quickley and Hagan's could both be back next season. Only guard that seems to definitely be leaving is Maxey. Meanwhile you have three 5* guards coming in, Terrence Clark, BJ Boston and Devin Askew. Also 4* wing Camron Fletcher. Also looking for playing time, 4* red shirt freshman Dontae Allen.
