I can only speak for my own fandom, but was I was born and raised an Ohio State fan. UK offered me a full ride scholarship. You going to tell me my fandom is not legit?

Shrug it off, apparently the football hate hasn’t worn off yet.

February 2, 20206 yr Let's hope it was just an aberration for Richards and Hagans. Auburn played tough and Pearl was effusive in his praise for almost all his players. My thinking is that Auburn just put it altogether in one of their biggest home game in years. Having said that, I do have a bit of concern that UK might be ceding primacy in the SEC to Auburn and LSU. Let's see how the future games the season against Auburn and LSU play out.

Auburn did a good job pressuring up top, not allowing UK to throw it in to him to take advantage of size advantage. Then when he did get it, he seemed to rush his shot.
February 2, 20206 yr Author ZONE Cal dadgone it, quit being so stinking stubborn!! Most of the time if Sestina or Juzang is in the game or Richards is out we are going to have to play zone!! It’d be different if we were a great defensive team but we’re obviously not, Richards blocking shots is our best defense, if Payne hadn’t went zone we would’ve lost to Arkansas too!!
February 2, 20206 yr Reality says I don’t think anyone really believed Cats would win this game. Well, they didn’t so let’s see how this valuable experience in a hostile environment helps moving down the stretch.

UK played a lot of zone in the second half and proceeded to lose the lead and the game. The zone was effective for a few minutes but it isn't going to win games.

Is that a realistic person to fill the job? He’s the most immediate candidate that makes sense. He has the fire of a 40 year old. Yes, he’s the same age as Cal and if Cal coaches another 5 years, the Pearl window is closed.

Didn’t UK give up more points in the second half when they played a lot of zone than in the first half? Also the only reason Payne went zone was the same reason UK went zone yesterday and that was because of foul trouble that day.

February 4, 20206 yr How old is the Coach from Texas Tech? I thought he would be the next Coach. He is from Kentucky. I don’t think he is from Kentucky, he has always been a Texas guy. He would fit right in with the history of KY basketball though. A legend, followed by a good coach, but the state never fully gets behind them and usually hates their style of play, then that coach followed by the drunk, before getting back to having a legend. So he would fit the cycle.
