nkucardsfan Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 (9th region All A final) Final per update thread.
hoops5 Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 Well done, Cru! When is the last time that Faust’s Cru won the 9th Region All A?
LoudenSwain Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 They played Beechwood. I saw it in person. Great win by St Henry. Did what they needed to to win an ugly game IMO. Congrats!
BBTEA Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 Congrats to the Cru! These are one of those games Beechwood would have loved to have Bieger with them. Bieger took so much pressure off of Draud. The three guard lineup of Draud, Bieger, and Downton would be a tough beat on any given night.
JDEaston Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 The 9th is really down this year it seems. Its Cov Cath then everyone else, Highlands may actually be #2, but I really don't believe there is a number two hah. I would have had St. Henry there prior to seeing them on video versus NCC and I wasn't impressed. It's an odd year for the 9th region.
4 Quarters Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 Congrats to the Cru! These are one of those games Beechwood would have loved to have Bieger with them. Bieger took so much pressure off of Draud. The three guard lineup of Draud, Bieger, and Downton would be a tough beat on any given night. How come Bieger left the team?
NKYBBALLFANS Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 Beechwood lost and will continue to lose against top teams because they don't play team ball. Period...the end.
Runcible Owl Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 (edited) Game stats summary per James Weber. Double-double for Wyatt Vieth. Lots of Cru players contributing for the win. Scotty Draud led the Tigers scoring with 28 points. Edited January 19, 2020 by Runcible Owl
hoops5 Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 Love when brothers are on the court at the same time. Nice contribution by the Shea boys.
Voice of Reason Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 Game stats summary per James Weber. Double-double for Wyatt Vieth. Lots of Cru players contributing for the win. ASTEPTOOSLOW Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 I totally agree. Have seen Beechwood many times this year and every game's the same. They have a lot of talent but they are not a TEAM.
Voice of Reason Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 Only 3 players scored for Beechwood? The even worse side of that is only 4 players even took more than one shot. IMO, Draud's poor free throw and three point shooting is because he is carrying too much of the load. A team cannot put that much on one player. It is bad for him and bad for the team. Everyone on the team including Draud, the coaches and the other players on the team need to work harder on getting more players involved on offense.
