Quite possibly the worst post in BGP history.

I have to agree. I think there was three teams that were head and shoulders above the rest of the country and unfortunately only two can move on.

There were some great players on both these teams. Very fun game to watch.

College football like that is hard to beat.

A bunch of these guys that played tonight will be playing on Sunday’s.

And yet, once again...

What a game...Happy to see Clemson get the win.

As I’ve said before, I absolutely detest what targeting has evolved into. It’s just ridiculous IMO. I understand that the correct call was probably made, but to be kicked out of a game and possibly set out the first half of the next is just outrageous for that hit. At some point, a little common sense needs to be applied.

It is what it is, a few select people on here were waiting 14 weeks for OSU to lose. You just hope you never become that person. It takes everything away from how good college football really is.

The one thing that continues on every level of football to be true if you have a chance to put a good quaterback away you can't settle for field goals in the red zone. It stood out after every field goal. I don't know if it was play calling , decision making on the field , or great defense. But just convert one of those three trips in the first half different ball game.

I forgot about the 4th down call that Ohio State turned into a huge passing touchdown. What a gutsy call. I kind of thought OSU would stay out in front after that.

The college targeting rule is the worst rule in all of sports.

Without question.

The college targeting rule is the worst rule in all of sports.

The college basketball charging call disagrees.

But I agree that it is bad.

An observation and a question.

OSU had four marquee players (more, but four for the purposes of this post). Two wore #1 on their backs (qb and dB) and two wore #2 (rb and de).

Has this recently become a thing?

Top players on the same team have wore the same number on opposites side of the ball for years. This might be the most extreme version in recent memory.
