Tates Creek (9-4) will travel to Male (13-0) after defeating Simon Kenton 47-8. Male will host after defeating St. Xavier 33-7. Male is on a 19 game winning streak and will be looking to get into Championship game for two years in a row. Tates Creek will be looking to make their first ever 6A Championship. Male boasts the #1 offense and #3 defense in 6A. Tates Creek has the #6 offense and #13 defense. Does Tates Creek have a shot or does Male make it 20 wins in a row?

I think Male rolls in this one. I don't think Tates Creek's defense will be able to stop all of Male's weapons and strong offensive line. I can see this one 42-14.

Does anyone think Tates Creek has a chance in this one?

I give them a 5 percent chance... They have played a decent schedule and seem to have improved as the season progressed. But Male will be too much in the end. Tates Creek will need mistakes and turnovers to stay in this one. They also may need to throw everything but the kitchen sink at them.

Running clock.

Running clock.

Is Tates Creek physical? Male is. Many people think Male is all speed and big-play players. They have their share but truth be told Male relies on physicality for their impressive success. You better come ready to win a rock fight (as they say).

I saw at the STX game the field was a mess. Any chatter about moving the game to a turf field?

Why in the name of the Good ______ would they do that???

A little high don't you think?

(I just checked the Sports Book in Vegas - and they have them listed as a

"No Show.")

I think Tates Creek's best chance to even make this competitive is for Duby and Thomas to hit some big plays and put points on the board early, before Male has a chance to impose their will. If the Commodores fizzle on their early possessions and let Male get a 2-3 score lead by the second quarter, it's probably over.

Give me the Bulldogs by 5-6 scores.

Couldn’t help myself. There were 19 votes for Male, which means my vote for Tates Creek put them at 5%. As stated above!
