I’d take Boyle over FD and Cov Cath. I think Boyle would win the 5A this year. On a given night Boyle could knock off Male or Trinity but in a best of 7 series Male and Trinity would win.

Objection, your honor!.....Speculation.

Honestly though, it's really hard to say. This Boyle County team is one of the more special teams that we have seen recently outside of the big 3 from Louisville. The whole team has bought in and seem to be on a mission . It's almost too good to be true.

Getting back on track in reference to this game. Scott seems to do some good things offensively by being balanced but they seem to turn the ball over a little too much. We all know that Boyle County has been turning turnovers into points. If Scott turns it over a few times early then this game will be ugly early. And if I'm being a little blunt I truly don't think it will matter if they turn it over or not.

I’ve seen both teams. This will be ugly. Boyle in a second quarter running clock.

Looks like only 1 common opponent this year was Highlands.

Boyle 30 Highlands 0

Highlands 42 Scott 13

Did a search on them and found that Doug Pelfrey is a alumni from there.

"Not many Northern Kentucky High Schools can claim a NFL star as one of their Alumni, but Scott High School proudly can. Former Cincinnati Bengals kicker Doug Pelfrey graduated from Scott High School in 1988 where he excelled in the classroom and on the football field as a Quarterback, Safety, and Kicker. From Taylor Mill, Doug next went on to Lexington to attend the University of Kentucky where he earned Honorable Mention All-American honors as a placekicker for the Wildcats. "

Getting a little more concerned with Johnson Central all the time.

Boyle Co. 55-6.

It has been said that Boyle County is the best team overall in the state and this shouldn't be much of a test for them. I have seen Scott play and they do have some bright spots but this will be a running clock win for Boyle County.

Doug Pelfry is the big football alum from Scott. Until Coach Woolley took over the program in 2012, Scott saw very little success on the football field. I don't know for sure how many winning seasons the ever had up to that point, but I would be willing to guess that it was in the low single digits.

Scott is very "Perrin-centric" on offense. Their passing game isn't a slouch, Cam Patterson is a solid receiver and athlete, but the Eagle's offense is not very strong when they are faced with a quality opponent.

This should be an easy win for the Rebels.

The poll says Chuck Smith in a romp. 52-3.

They had a minor shoving match and a flop in this game.

Boyle stopped Scott 3 and out I think, terrible punt, Boyle with the ball on the Scott 29 going in.

Rebels get a short field due to a bad punt by Scott.
