December 1, 200619 yr The only people that it would be a big upset to is the people who don't like Tubby and have already made up their mind about the season. It doesnt touch Kansas getting upset or Butler winning the whole NIT as just one big upset. Actually, it would be a pretty big upset since UK is ranked #30 and UNC is in the top 10.
December 1, 200619 yr Actually, it would be a pretty big upset since UK is ranked #30 and UNC is in the top 10. Rankings mean absolutely nothing right now. Its just now December. I do think it is considered an upset, just not a big one. Its not one that if it happpens ESPN will be saying, "no one saw this coming."

December 1, 200619 yr Better talent, better coach. UNC 75 UK 55 The truth is the truth & this comes from a UK fan.....like it
December 1, 200619 yr North Carolina 85 Kentucky 68 Please don't try to run with the Heels. Tried that with Memphis and it was :scared: If the Cats try to run (notice I said "try") the final score will be 108-68.
December 1, 200619 yr Heels roll over the Wildcats...I agree with the above post...but think the Cats hang around for a while. UNC-82 UK-60
December 1, 200619 yr Everyone gripes when they don't run up and down the floor. Now everyone is saying don't run with UNC.Seems like whatever they do it will be wrong. What they have to do is make shots. If they get the chance to run I think they should. They have a better chance to get open shots on the break than they do in the half court.UNC hasn't played too much defense yet so maybe they can run their half court offense ok.Just keep Thomas on the bench for most of the game and they will improve their chances.:thumb:

There were a few instances when UNC would clamp down on tOSU on the perimeter. If that pressure can be handled, I feel like UK could have some success on the interior if people are moving and setting screens. For as talented as they are, UNC's lack-of-experience is more likely to show on interior defense and communication.
December 1, 200619 yr I think this one gets away from UK big and possibly like the Kansas and Indiana games last year.
December 1, 200619 yr Better talent, better coach. UNC 75 UK 55 Thats kind of funny you say that, because hasn't Roy Williams done the same things as Tubby has. Roy Williams has had plenty of teams that have got knocked out early in tournaments. He has had teams while at Kansas that was suppose to be the most talented teams in the country only to get upset in the tournament every year. Teams like Tubby had that were 1 seeds but didn't get to the final four. Then at UNC he wins a title with a team with a bunch of players he didn't recruit... So its kind of funny that people say he is a better coach, and how Tubby should only be at programs like Tulsa. When really they both have done the exact same thing...
December 1, 200619 yr The truth is the truth & this comes from a UK fan.....like it The truth is in post #59...:sssh:
