Rocks where thoroughly out coached and out played!!

Wow, saying Trinity got out coached is saying a lot.

Cathedral probably best team in Indiana. I thought Trinity would win so props to Cathedral on the win. Pretty impressive considering Trinity’s defense.

I still like Trinity's chances at yet another state championship.

Former OC for Trinity Andrew Coverdale put 41 points on the Cathedral with his new team Cincy St X earlier this year. Beatty won’t admit it but Coverdale is missed.

This years Trinity team also has a penchant for turning the ball over in the most inopportune times....

I agree Coverdale is missed but he also has better players.

Trinity has been humbled. I still expect the Rocks to bounce back.

I didn’t see this one coming, at least not the 28 points from Cathedral.

Trinity will be fine. Been out of town and busy all week, but had a feeling this was going to be tough. This is the best offense Trinity will see this season.

Orin Edwards - the QB - is a really good athlete and has really improved as a QB. DO a lot of business with several Cathedral supporters and they have been stoked about this season and the potential. They had several injuries on defense early but are healthy now and obviously played well.

Trinity is missing Bradley West. Not the biggest RB but he's a huge help to that offense and he's been out with an injury. If they get him back, the offense will start to click again. They'll be OK.

As I tried to tell BGP peeps, WC and Carmel were both down this year by their standards, and they were not the measuring stick this year. Good wins by name alone. Cathedral represented very well.

With that said, still feel like Trinity is the favorite to win State imo.

I knew a loss was by all means possible but I did not think one of this magnitude would happen. What went so wrong? Much better team? Flat? Inopportune turnovers? I thought the leadership on this team would preclude these types of results but I was wrong obviously.

I knew Cathedral had really good offense but I thought Trinity could score some points on them. The one positive is they will see what they need to work on and will make them better in long run.

Avon has an argument to best team in Indiana, but if not Avon then Cathedral.
