Great Game!

Logan County comes in riding high off their improbable win last Friday at Madisonville!

Hoptown is at home and have some excellent athletes.

The team that plays better defense wins this game.

What a great game! Something tells me Hoptown is going to take this district!

Hopkinsville- 34

Logan- 27

Logan County looked beat up after the last district game. If they can heal in a short week they can essentially win the district this week.

If Logan is as good as they are ranked they should beat Hoptown.

Hoptown is ranked one spot above Logan in the BGPs poll.

Two very good, well coached Football teams. This district is a beast. Should be a barn burner in Hopkinsville Thursday night.

Welcome to BGP @WKY_Football

I think Logan is on a “Mission from God”. Things did not end as they hoped last year and they will not be denied.

Both WR/DB Anthony Woodard and RB/LB Gary Hardy fall into the "beat up" category.

Woodard is the teams leading receiver. He was injured in the 3rd quarter with what looked like an ankle injury. He was getting assistance coming of the field and limping like it was an ankle. He is a game breaker that the Cougars can ill-afford to lose. I think the Tigers would have trouble containing him.

Hardy is the team's leading rusher and 2nd in tackles. He was on and off the field during the 2nd half. He wasn't on the field for the game-winning drive. I don't know if it was an injury or just exhaustion. Kid plays both sides of the ball and is all-out every play.

I haven't heard the status of either player. Will pass along if I hear anything.

P88, I was going on the West KY rankings which to me personally are more reflective of what’s going on in West KY! And written by you.

;)

Logan 30-23.
