I was just commenting on the current ratings as they would relate to teams today. We are several weeks from the RPI having any meaning or impact.

Quarterfinals are Regional Championship games. Those aren’t seeded are they?

 

District 1 & District 2, 3 v 4, 5 v 6, and 7 v 8 will still apply there won’t they?

It's my understanding that the 4 remaining teams after the first 2 rounds of district games from the east and west are seeded 1 through 4. Winners advance to the semi's and all 4 remaining teams are re-seeded 1 through 4 with the winners playing in Lexington.

 

I could be wrong but this is what I was told.

No, not as I understand it. RPI seeds 4 in West and 4 in East and they play each other.

In 3rd round, when 8 teams are left, the District 1-4 winners will be seeded using RPI and same with Districts 5-8. The 4 teams that are left in 4th round will be seeded again. In Championship, the highest seed will be home team.
