For your 30 year old friend buying a house in Fort Thomas, trust me, tuition at Highlands is awhole lot cheaper than buying a house.:creepy:

She's buying a condo. Her son is 5. Tuition for 13 years would be crazy.

Old School...Kids going to Trinity and Male is really different. All I'm going to say is at Male a parent has to apply to get in and not every one can get into the Traditional Program for Male and Butler. I know several Parents who are still trying to get their child into the program and I'm one of them. I will not mention anything about the other school except this. Our kids come from one county...Jefferson and I'm not sure how many counties Trinity has kids come from maybe 14 and that includes Indiana.

A lot of parents must think that Trinity is a great school and worth the cost of tuition if your "not sures" and "maybes" turn out to be correct-----I'm not sure but maybe Trinity is something worth emulating.

Ref, Meade, Harrison, Hardin, Not sure of the actual count. Tony Driver? Don't know the facts can't comment but how long ago did he attend Male? If someone wants to go to Trinity nothing wrong with that at all. Nice school and complex.

14 is alot. Is this an exaggeration?

Let's see. Floyd, Clark, Jefferson, Oldham, Bullitt, Shelby, Spencer, is half that but a huge area. I think 14 is not correct.

Heck, I would bet that most BGPers (myself included) couldn't even NAME 13 other counties that radiate out from Jefferson Co. I cannot imagine any school that draws kids from 14 different counties. And you know what?, even if they do that really says something for a school if a student wants to travel 45 minutes to and from every day to go there. I do not believe that the privates have free busses toting these kids around. (And for the record, I have one grade school son in a public school by my choice.)

She still be better off paying tuition, but hey, if she gets a condo for that price let me know.:thumb:

Rock-Air One flys the Texas and Florida kids to school on Monday and takes them home on Friday (after the games of course). We were able to buy Garth Brooks' old tour bus (repainted and retooled of course) that handles the kids from IN. IL. and TN. Then there are the ones that need personal transportation and borrow from the school's Lexus collection.

Henry, Trimble, Hardin, and Meade maybe?

You're still 3 short and I would be very surprised if any Jefferson County school had any students, athletes or otherwise, from any of these counties, though I guess anything is possible.

Jefferson, Harrison (IN), and Nelson (KY).

^ This path is BORING.... we go down it every year, at least once....so what? Let's get back to the thread topic

I heard today from a reliable source ? that the 4A trophy all ready has "Trinity" engraved on it...... Im really surprised that the KHSAA would do such a thing.

Not buying fella. Just because you guys got stuck with a bunch of "Repeat State Champs" tee-shirts don't think that everybody operates that way. How is that "Three-peat" that Coach Glaser envisioned working out?:D

This is awsome! Nobody thinks Ryle has a chance, and i love it....what an opportunity to shock the State, and earn respect for NKY 4A.

As far as the trophy goes, are you kidding me??? There's no way they would do this, and if they did, i think they put the wrong name on it!

Don't you know a St.X sour grapes post when you see one? First off the name isn't on the trophy. Riverside 157 might know this if he had actually seen one.:D
