I have been told that Minniefield runs a 4.6. I doubt that Murray is a legit 4.6. The speeds that people post on this site are absurd. One guy had a 2A school in central Kentucky with 3 sub 4.5 guys. Thats about how many they had at the Indy NFL combine.

Hey there it was on laser, I was there!!!!4.63, oh yeah Gray runs in the high 4.6s

If Trinity can spread Ryle out on defense with sweeps and the threat of the long ball, they will score some points on them. I do not think their defense can huddle a complete offensive attack. On defense, if Murray is stuffed a bit up the middle, he will take it to the outside where Trinity will have to keep him from squaring his shoulders. They open a lot of holes spreading you out left to right and then hitting you up the gut.

Murray has gotton many more carries in the playoffs than Gray. I said your post was being rude and it was.

They didn't rely on Murray until LATE in the year. Gray probably had more carries this year than Murray did. They are a good speed power 1-2 punch.

-IAmAFan

Wrong. Murray has 217 and Gray has 196.

What was wrong about my post? Murray has had probably 75 carries the last 3 games. Every time I, or anyone has posted anything about Murray you've had a negative comment. Have I had any negative comments about anyone at T? I have said things like, "Ryle will need miracles to win," yet somehow my thinking Vince Murray is a special player is somehow a reach.....

That response was to this post by you "Gray probably had more carries this year than Murray" not the one you quote. Go back and look it up (post #324) and please don't post things out of context. I posted that you were "wrong" and then the actual numbers. How is that a negative post. Facts are never negative or positive, they are just facts. I'll try to post with more finesse' in the future. Maybe I should have said your post was incorrect?:D

That is exactly what I said. I was 100% accurate in my post.

Post 324 was in reply to that exact post. Look it up. Notice how I also say "They didn't rely on Murray until LATE in the year." In the regular season Gray had more carries if those numbers you posted are through the Henderson game.

How about the eyes role on Murray's 40 time? Negative? How about this post.

Thats not all bad. Indy Warren Central is one-dimensional, but they are multi-talented as they proved on Ryle's field a few years ago against Elder. Maybe some in-the-know Ryle fans can comment on these stats as well as enlighten me on Ryle's offensive scheme. Thanks.

He missed a few games and they never had to throw the ball. They've used it enough to keep other teams honest. His numbers are a good QB rating and he has a very good arm.

I enlightened you(like you asked me to)and you came back with negative......

"good QB rating"? he has completed 46% of his passes. It looks like passing is less than a 1/4 of your offense. Its great to keep other teams honest, but what about plan B when some team shuts down the run? If Ryle gets behind are they done?

13 TD's and 2 INT's REALLY HELPS A QB Rating.

How about post 147? Negative?

I'm not DD and I made 0 negative comments, yet when I make positive one's you challenge them.

Example number 9 billion (ok that's a little high).

I said the secondary was good. You said they can't cover the routes. I said they'll play some zone. You said they'd run in the seems. Well Mr. Obvious I know a little more about football then you give me credit for. Does T read zone/man at the line and call plays. Is this an Indy/Bengal offense. I can't apologize for saying Ryle is good at football. Again I'm sorry I offended you by saying that Ryle is good at defense and Murray is a good football player. I didn't mean to hit nerves....

Once again your comments are out of context. I did look it up, did you? If you did you'd see that you clearly stated "this year". "This year" doesn't mean "late in the year", it means "this year". I corrected you. I responded with facts. You commented that the facts were incorrect, I corrected you again. Those same facts were printed in the CJ this morning. I doubt that the kid is as fast as posted, but that is a common error on this site as I explained. Show me where I posted that Ryle "can't cover the routes". FYI, you didn't offend me. I just disagree with you and back my comments with stats and facts. I understand that you love the Murray kid, I just doubt that he is quite as spectacular as you claim. I just wonder how some RB/LB is 6'3" 220# and runs a legit 4.6 isn't on the radar screen of any recruiting site anywhere. He hasn't been offered by any D1 school that I can find (please correct me if I'm wrong). I'm sure the kid is a fine young man and a super high school football player. I wish him good luck.:thumb:

The MBA team that beat Trinity early in '06 suffered injuries like no other MBA team has ever seen soon thereafter. MBA lost its #1 QB in the Trinity game to a torn ACL, and his backup that engineered the Trinity win was lost two weeks later for the season. MBA was relegated to a sophomore QB with no experience for the last six games, and therefore a single-wing offense that was virtually a complete 180 from the offense MBA typically employs. In addition, nine other starters were lost at some point during the season. While MBA is private, for a school with about 30-40% the number of male students as Trinity, those were huge losses. Combine decimating injuries with what was once again a tough league, and you have a 4-6 record that is somewhat misleading.

Was MBA a below average team at season's end? Absolutely. But MBA's program remains second in Tennessee in all-time wins, and there's no shame in the Trinity loss to that program (nor that team at full manpower in Week 1) early in the year.

Good luck to both squads this weekend.

Thanks for the details. Makes more sense, but still not quite buying it.

You had better update that to rain and falling temps as the front will get here a little sooner per the AM WDRB weatherman.

Probably mean anything to you????????? Seriously I said "probably had more carries this year," and I also said, "Ryle didn't rely on Murray until late." Imply and Infer mean anything to you? Gray had more carries in the regular season than Murray. Murray isn't on anyone's radar because he didn't have the carries, he split them. He's also probably going to play college baseball somewhere.

Beat Dixie back to back, just a little overconfident in the Boone game. And a common opponent with Boone was Campbell, beat badly by Ryle twice but Boone couldn't handle them in the playoffs. Nobody close to the Raiders in NKY this year.

How can you say that when you lost to a team. and beat one by two points and then only beat them by 12 without their QB? I know they are the ones left standing but I wouldn't say no one was close to them whem Boone handled them. I was answering a question if they were the best since 94 Boone.

Besides that CCH and Highlands would drill Ryle, I have seen all three play.

Congrats on seeing all three play, however, if you think that Ryle would get drilled by Cov or Highlands, you haven't seen them play lately. They are peaking at the right time.

"IF" is always a fun question.... just wondering what the readers think about this one..... IF Ryle and Trinity had switched spots in the playoff bracket, would both teams still be playing Thursday?

Doubtful. However, Ryle is not from Louisville. Therefore, they shouldn't have to win the region from Louisville to get to state.

Actually I have and Highlands and CCH have really Good defense and CCH has a great Offense and I think Ryle would struggle against a good Spread offense. Heck Dixie 's WR passed for 180 yards on them according to the Paper what would Blesser do? I take back that Highlands would drill them but they would still beat them.
