I know this sounds weird but I am more scared of great DB's than a LB in our scheme.

I agree, but on passing downs he's a 6'2" 225 pound DB right in the middle or he's blitzing.

I think you are a little confused. It wasn't Trinity fans claiming to have a physical advantage over the Raiders. It was the other way around. Check out all the posts boasting of Ryle's "physical style of play" and how many Raiders are "animals" and "beasts". The NKY faithful branded the Rocks as a "finesse team". I think the difference may be that that while the Rocks have seen a number of teams that do what Ryle does (albeit maybe not as well) , Ryle hasn't played a team with Trinity's balance. JMO.

Excellent post my friend...

good to see you as always.

Trinity is not the team they have been in the past. I like Ryle in this one.

I checked out the team from TN that beat Trinity and they didn't even make the TN state playoffs.

I don't mind him blitzing, because that will leave holes and Nick will find those, if he's dropping in a hook zone, that could be more of an issue, and I would look for us to use the flats more...

If these LB'ers really do fly around and stunt as much as you all say, I would certainly look for a huge dose of misdirection in this game.

Ryle offers a TON of different looks on defense.

You're right this is one of the best Trinity teams that we have had this decade.....

:scared:

WE don't predacate our offense on others' looks. We will set up, run a couple of different shift-to's etcetera, and let her fly.

Ryle is a good football team but they are not the best NKY 4A team since 94 Boone. They have made farther because of the system this would have been a 2nd round game if they used last years system. I think this Ryle team is good But you can't discount other teams from NKY 4A that had to play Lou. schools earlier than the Finals. Good Luck to Ryle you will need it

Ryle better hope they don't have to throw the ball to win this game, they have an efficient but far from a decent passing game

With all that said good luck Ryle, The last time Trinity lost a Playoff game someone in your district beat them.

They obviously are this year though, and that's all that counts. No one in NKY close to them once they got rolling.

^ Dixie was...Boone beat them.

The first Campbell game was a struggle as well until Ryle blew it open late.

Everythng I'm reading is telling me that the Rocks need to get stronger. Ryle intends to roll right over the ROCKS. Ryle's defensive may give Trinity's offense several looks!!! I suppose they have never heard of Coverdale? Not the team of the past, no joking, they are the team of present who is coming off two great wins. Rocks roll in a big way, even though it may be a little wet. T 37 R 14. GO ROCKS.

Were you reading this somewhere else or am I missing something?

Beat Dixie back to back, just a little overconfident in the Boone game. And a common opponent with Boone was Campbell, beat badly by Ryle twice but Boone couldn't handle them in the playoffs. Nobody close to the Raiders in NKY this year.

I think the folks at CovCath and Highlands would disagree with you. I'm beginning to think that if you shut down this Murray kid, game over. I think we will really see if Ryle can pass the ball and score lots of points. Trinity will score, no one has stopped them lately. Can Ryle answer? we'll see.

You know there General old buddy... you may have a point there. The Trinity teams of the past may have beaten the number 3 team in the nation (Male) by more. I think I'll play this hand though and do just fine.
