Probably mean anything to you????????? Seriously I said "probably had more carries this year," and I also said, "Ryle didn't rely on Murray until late." Imply and Infer mean anything to you? Gray had more carries in the regular season than Murray. Murray isn't on anyone's radar because he didn't have the carries, he split them. He's also probably going to play college baseball somewhere.

This doesn't go hand in hand with the thread but interesting stat. Murray has now carried the ball 217 for 1681,

Farris from Boone finished the season with 225 for 1581. Imagine the numbers if he had gotten the ball earlier. WOW

Go Raiders!!!!:thumb:

Dixie, SK, Boone, and Campbell were all better than Meade and Henderson this year. Compared to Highlands or CCH or the big 3 then they are weak. 4A in Northern Ky is as good or close to anyone else in the State. Compared to the rest of the State (other than Louisville)I have to say that 4A is pretty strong. NCC is in the state finals, but Ryle beat them soundly. I didn't mean any disrespect with the word duh, but comparing 4A football in NKY to 2 programs like Cov Cath and Highlands is not fair. Kids go to both those schools for football. CC had a Baptist from Cold Springs as a quarterback for their 97' championship. I know a 30 year lady who is buying in Ft. Thomas because she can't afford the tuition at Highlands for her 5 year old.

Meade beat Boone 27 - 24 back in September.

There is NO WAY Ryle would still be playing...Yes they deserve to be where they are at, they won the games they were supposed to win. Would Ryle even be top 3 or 4 in Louisville, I doubt it! Ryle did manage to win a very competitive NKY AAAA, however after that they faced very average teams.

Give the Ryle staff the community of Trinity, and Male and you bet they would be in the top three of louisville. The fact is that they are getting it done with the players in their backyard, not the backyard's of other places and communitites. Would Trinity, X, and Male be who they are if under a system like Ryle's????

No reason for the smart mouth, I never said it was BAD find where I said that. I said it is not strong. and when 3A and in some cases 1A teams man handle some of the better teams in your district you can not say you are strong. The Louisville Region is the test you have to pass in 4A, much like the NKY region in 3A is the test you have to pass to be able to call yourself great, or Strong.

First is first, Lets see how the Raiders do against Trinity Thursday, I think we all may be surprised at what they bring to the table. FYI Ryle opens with Highlands next year at PBS. I guess the testing will begin for this team in three days!!!!

Study hard, good news is you have all winter and summer to study for the 2nd test.

FYI...Trinity is the Away team and Ryle is the Home team. There are NO reserved seats. All tickets are $7.00 in advance, $10.00 at the gate (Brown&Williams seats are $15.00. Home side only). Park in any lot for $5.00 per car...

Old School...Kids going to Trinity and Male is really different. All I'm going to say is at Male a parent has to apply to get in and not every one can get into the Traditional Program for Male and Butler. I know several Parents who are still trying to get their child into the program and I'm one of them. I will not mention anything about the other school except this. Our kids come from one county...Jefferson and I'm not sure how many counties Trinity has kids come from maybe 14 and that includes Indiana.

In terms of the recent Male v. T game, do you feel that Trinity having kids from 14 or so counties affected the outcome of the game?

Alabama Larry, hopefully my comments were not taken as a bash in anyway. Hey if we all could do it we all would. I commend male and trinity and X (dont want to leave anybody out) for their programs. When you look at KY high school football you start with these programs. I am unaware of all the obstacles that one must face in entering the schools. All I am saying is that in some way these schools have the pick of the crop as far as athletics are concerned. I'm sure you take any of these schools in NKY and put them into a system like the "big 3" and they would be able to take off as well. As a side note,I am glad to hear that you guys are playing with the Jefferson county boys. If you cant do it with your own then why do it?

Dio...we had a great group of Seniors led by Douglas. Lets see how the next few years play out. 2000 was the last time Male won State and this was a great chance to go to the final game and we lost and we also lose several key people. Old School, no big deal its just something we (me) talk about on here when we get beat. Good Luck to both schools on Thursday nite.

For your 30 year old friend buying a house in Fort Thomas, trust me, tuition at Highlands is awhole lot cheaper than buying a house.:creepy:

14 is alot. Is this an exaggeration?

Let's see. Floyd, Clark, Jefferson, Oldham, Bullitt, Shelby, Spencer, is half that but a huge area. I think 14 is not correct.
