see you one way or another tonight?

Im southbound at 3:30.

I agree that the game will come down more to Ryle's D vs Trinity's O. Rain should not bother the Trinity O much. If the offense is like Coverdale's stuff in the past there are a lot of quick throw available to the QB. They should have a vertical game but in the past the idea has been more to get the ball out quick to the playmakers in space. Coverdale wrote the book (at least 4) on the passing game. It is as close to a pro style passing game as you will see in HS. It is a different animal then what Dixie does.

Rain will hopefully slow down the passing attack or T.

No worries. We can run the ball pretty good too. :thumb:

With dry balls and the gloves available now days rain isn't the factor in the passing game that it used to be. I hope the game is played injury free and the weather plays little or no role in the outcome. Good luck to both teams.

Go Rocks Go!!!

I think turf is a bigger factor than either gloves or balls.....

First of all, let me say good luck to both schools and congrats on getting there. I have a question for Ryle fans though...

What has turned your program around? Is it the current coaching staff doing such a good job with these kids or was this group of kids developed by the Hockman family?

The Ryle coaching staff is excellent. It's been mostly the same guys for about 4 or 5 years.

The Hockmans never had one of these kids and that is a blessing!

Has Ryle not played on it all year?

Thank goodness. I can respect the RYLE program now.

Has Ryle not played on it all year?

I think they played on it against Glen Este.

ryle played on turf at Nippert and at Dunbar, they practiced at Beechwood

Has Ryle not played on it all year?

I was saying it's the biggest factor in cancelling out the rain. Ryle has played on it a few times and practiced on it this week.

Gotcha....I am glad they are playing on the field turf.....it eliminates most factors, not called ICE>
