It depends on what you look at. Class A football is dominated by public schools. It seems to me that you are getting ready to make an excuse in the chance that NewCath wins. To be fair, the vast majority of NewCath students attended Catholic feeder schools in Campbell Co.

No excuses. I have had a rough week. I want my Rams to win but if they dont congradulations will go out to NCC. There will be no excuses to be made. It will be the best team on that particular night. Be safe.

Guys, I was defintely planning on heading down, but just found out that some electrical work on my house is done and we are closing on it Friday at 3:30. Hopefully it will be on the radio up here, but sorry I'll miss everyone.

No sarcasm here, but it looks like love has returned to BGP.

In the right hand corner click on 1080am Ashland, Ky. this should take you to the game. If you have any problems trying to connect just shoot Oldrambler a PM and he will walk you through to the conection.

Beechwood:confused: :sssh:

Do they still park on the hillside to watch the games? I remember playing there in '96 when Raceland was, like 10-0, and they had lawn chairs on the track. If you ran out of bounds, you ran smack into the front row. The sidelines were packed with people during warm-ups. Really cool place to play and wonderful atmosphere. I hope that this years version of the 'Breds has the same result we did.

Look for it to be jam packed again mex, imo a person will have to be there by 6:00, (5:30 to be safe) at the very latest to get a decent parking place and a place inside to see the game well. The track and sidelines will be lined 2 and 3 deep maybe more plus both home and visitor sides bleachers will be filled(and there will probably be a line of cars and lawn chairs on the side of US23 also). There is rain in the forecast for the rest of the week but I really don't think that will hold the crowd back for this game. About the forecast of rain the rest of the week, don't count on it as a positive, I don't know about your meterologist in NKY but ours  ............... lets say are questionable:eek:   . If you don't like the weather, wait about 15 minutes and it will change.:D

This man knows his football. I have to agree with him on the prediction. But expect a tough game.

quickslick, I thought I finally got you to admit you loved NCC? No??:p

Ha, ha!

Come on 98--I look at it like this--it is a huge step for me to like you . . . . . simply because of NCC!

The funny thing is--it isn't personal--it is business. And a strong rivalry bring the best and worst out of everyone. For me--NCC owns my "worst" side (but probably my best work).

But the truth is the truth. NCC should has a very good team--and they deserve to be where they are at this point in the season. I attribute a LOT of that to the tougher schedule--because in years past, I think that the easier schedule would have led to a let down after the Red/White Tigers got up by 11 last week.

If you would have looked at the other thread that was shut down you would have noticed that NCC said our coaching staff could not compare with theirs. It was a heated thread. So no we did say we had an outstanding coaching staff and that we stood behind them but no we did not compare and no we did not say ours was better just that they could hold their own.

I read the other thread a couple different times--and I am pretty sure that there is at least one post that states that the Raceland coaching staff is better.

Not to mention the fact that during the year, I have read many accounts of where Raceland "may" have the best staff in the state.

I agree--they are good. And they have done an excellent job. However, from personal experience, I have been in position to match whits with the best of them the last 8 years--and I just feel like there MANY that are better.

In the grand scheme of things--that means nothing . . . . . I can only quantify that with the fact that we have been in some battles with some very good schools--that are "historically" (meaning--state championship game/state championship winners) successful.

None of this is meant to be an insult . . . . please don't take it that way. . . . .

FYI.....

Game time Kick off is 7pm.

I didn't know this, thanks.:thumb: I posted earlier to be safe and get a decent parking spot to be there by 5:30 - 6:00. That was my thinking for a 7:30 kickoff. I would adjust that to be there at 5:00 - 5:30.

Thanks for the reminder!!!!:thumb:
