I'm sticking with what quickslick said, 35 or 42 to 7.

Newcath Wins BIG. Noone can score against their defence. The have allowed 125 points all year.(mostly offenceive turnovers)

NO ONE has been able to score on the rams DEFENSE so far this season either. Their OFFENSE has been pretty good to!

Whose Noone? Is that Raceland's fullback?

I think that Raceland has the advantage with the field conditions because not only has Raceland had a few games this year in the mud, but New Cath has played 8 of their 11 games on turf!!!!

Actually they've played 5 on grass and 7 on turf. Their grass games include Dayton, Ryle, Bellevue, Holy Cross (playoffs) and Ludlow. In those games they are 4-1 with the lone loss coming to a very good 4A Ryle team. They also have been practicing full gear four days a week (Mon-Thur) for the past several weeks on a grass field up on the hill that has been turned into a mud pit. IMO a muddy field plays into their hands as they should be able to run the ball at will. They had several long consistent drives against a very stingy Beechwood defense, and the 'Breds also bring one of the best defenses in class A. These aren't fighting words, just my opinion.

No fighting words taken NCC,I don't mind anyone promoting their team or giving their opinion. :thumb:

Ram players, it is now gameday! Rams you have the chance to win a first regional title in Raceland Football. NCC is the defending State "A" Champion, to be the best you have to beat the best, you have te chance to gain some amount of state wide respect tonight. All that I can say is go out and play with the same intensity and PRIDE that you have all season. You were able to avenge the only loss of the season last week and just keep the attitude of "we are not through yet!". Leave it all out on the field tonight and don't hold anything back, if you can walk off that field tonight knowing that you have given everything that you have in you then win or lose you will have nothing to be ashamed of. Well, I guess that is my sermon "from the bottom" (Raceland and Worthington residents will know what I mean by that;) ). Lets go out and get the WIN vs. a VERY good NCC team and advance to the State "A" semi-final! :ylsuper: :ylsuper: :flame: :dancingpa

Amen brother rambler!

Let's go Raceland! Today is a big day, but stay focused on football and just do what you always do. This is what you've been working hard for since JFL. Prayers for a safe and injury-free game.

I know this is a little "off-topic", but today's Lex Herald-Leader had this in it:

Raceland grad Aaron Pettrey could play an important role in Saturday's college football showdown between No. 1 Ohio State and No. 2 Michigan. Pettrey, a freshman kicker for the Buckeyes, is 8-for-11 on field goals, and 47-for-50 on extra points.

I am pulling for RACELAND and I am an OSU graduate - so I felt like this was OK to post on this thread...
