I see a great game with lead changes. Giving homefield advantage, I'll take Raceland by 6. GO RAMS!

Oldram, best of luck to you and yours during your tough times. I hope you are able to enjoy the Regional final game that your team has earned the privilege of hosting. Congratulations to the Rams on a wonderful season and I'm sure that it has been a wonderful culmination of many years' hard work for all of their seniors.

I will be pulling for the team from the north but hope it is a great experience for all envolved.

Best of luck to both teams !

Thank you and God Bless.

As an old and sick man it is easy i guess to get all tore up. This week has been hard for my family so these kind words really help.

I'll keep you and your family in our Prayers oldram. Just hang tough, God will see you through your hard times. Stay positive, sit back and enjoy a nice cold bottle of "Orange Crush":thumb:

Great post!!!!:thumb: :thumb:

I thought it got shut down because of the pot shots one poster made about LCa's coach.

How far of a drive is it from Nky? Im guessing we need to take the AA highway down?

A NOTE: For anyone who used this post as a qoute. The original directions said turn left on US23. It should be Turn Right On US23.

Give yourself at least 2 1/2 hours. Take the AA all the way to it's end in Greenup Co. Turn right on US 23 south. It's about another 15 minutes. Watch for the signs or the field, it's right beside the highway on your left. It's not a bad drive, We've made it down your way several times. LOL

Welcome to Ram Stadium in advance and have a safe trip.

OldRam - I wa sjust kidding anyway...I am pulling for the RAMs like I said I would for three reasons:

1. The kids have great heart and they play as a TEAM - they arent looking for individual glory

2. Raceland has an EXCELLENT coaching staff led by a good Christian man with great integrity.

3. The Raceland fans are top-shelf and I have gotten to knwo a few of you this year - and it has been a true blessing to be involved with these fine men.

Good luck to both teams and safe travels for the NCC folks!

Thanks EE. The same goes for you guys also.

I really do not consider Raceland an Independent school. Its the neighborhood kids that go there. That is the boys that play. You play with what you have. No tuition. No recruiting. Like i said just an opinion. I just want to note I am not talking about NCC particularly i am speaking about the entire class.

It depends on what you look at. Class A football is dominated by public schools. It seems to me that you are getting ready to make an excuse in the chance that NewCath wins. To be fair, the vast majority of NewCath students attended Catholic feeder schools in Campbell Co.

Thank you and God Bless.

My bad, didn't read this before I posted. Sorry.

Do they still park on the hillside to watch the games? I remember playing there in '96 when Raceland was, like 10-0, and they had lawn chairs on the track. If you ran out of bounds, you ran smack into the front row. The sidelines were packed with people during warm-ups. Really cool place to play and wonderful atmosphere. I hope that this years version of the 'Breds has the same result we did.

You still see a car pull off the highway to watch. And yes it will probably be packed if the weather holds.
