I like Hunter, have met him a couple of times. I do think he has some problems with presnap reads, audibles, and zone protection reads. Thus, Brian is superior.

Woodson has a higher passer rating (149.7 vs 146.5) 4 times as many touch downs (24 vs 6) and only 3 more INTs (7 vs 4).

 

And UofLs Heisman candidate running back has been out the whole season, and Brohm still has ZERO multiple touchdown games compared to Woodson's SEVEN.

So? What does that say? Andre is better you are right....if only there were some more MSU's, Vandy's, and 2 D-1AA's this year.

Urrutia is leaeding the nation in yards per catch...do you know who's #2 in the conference in the same category? Harry Douglas.....that pretty much sums up that opinion.

Both are very good QB's. The state of kentucky should be proud of both of these fine young men.

I do not think anyone would take Andre over Brian; however, UK's QB has proven to be a really solid DIV I QB. Definetley in the upper half, which is an accomplishment in itself.

what does that mean??? Playing Woodson's season? And I am not just looking at TD's but the all stats. I just think Woodson is having a better year.

I don't know...I think you also need to take in the season as a whole, Brian's recovery from a second surgery, his big wins vs Miami and WVU...a brand new unit under center. I think Brian's season speaks for itself. Andre's is nice though.

Right, but then you have a team like WVU where they droppes 8 people when U of L got into the redzone....it's hard to pass through that if you are Peyton himself.

He's better than upper half...maybe Top 15....you're right.

The improvement from one season to the next is amazing, imo. From barely holding on to the job to maybe one of the top 20 QBs in the nation is an awesome accomplishment.

But it's not like he is a different QB against better teams. He has been very consistent this season.

Against his weakest 5 opponents, he had 17 TD and 3 INT. He completed 66% of his passes for an average of 298. That was 9.6 yds per attempt.

 

Against his best 5 opponents he's had 7 TD and 4 INT. He completed 56% of his passes for an average of 217. That was 6.7 yds per attempt.
