November 14, 200619 yr Fact: UK is above UL because they played UL Fact: UL is below UK because they played UK That would only be a fact if UK were the lowest rated team on UL's schedule. I tell you what let's take the lowest rated opponent or the highest rated opponent (whichever you prefer) off of the respective schedules and see what happens. Funny story (your favorite line) it would still be the same.

November 14, 200619 yr The quote Ram responded to said the UK schedule was MUCH better. Do you want the % between 14 and 18 in a 119 team "league"... I said nothing about that quote. I was talking about your quote which is bogus. Read mine again, drop the lowest rated or highest rated team from either teams schedule and figure it again. UK's is still higher. I was responding to your quote.
November 14, 200619 yr You lost ALL credibility to comment on all NFL related matters when you predicted that the Bengals would win "at least the next 5 games" I believe you said to "Write this down" They didn't even win one--I'm sure the NFL is flooding you with GM job offers. Im still waiting to see where you have earned any credibility at all in any subject on here... Also wise guy I think maybe you should take up a job in the future telling business, because you said they didn't win one of the 5 games in a row that I said they would win. But Im pretty sure they have only played one game so far, so its pretty funny that you say that they didn't even win one of the games when they still have 4 to play... So you either are not good with numbers, or you can predict the future. So if its that you are not good with numbers, then Im pretty sure you are not getting many GM offers either because they wouldn't want anyone who cant count. Or maybe it is that you can predict the future, and if thats the case I really would like to know ahead of time who will win the super bowl this year, and who will win the Kentucky Derby next year, because this way I can start making some early bets on these things and make some easy money...
November 14, 200619 yr As I said before I am a die hard UK fan and would always want us to have better things that UL. But its just funny that people try to say Woodson is better than Brohm..

Juuuuuuusssssst a little bit touchy there are we? I never said that they wouldn't win one of the five games in a row that you predicted. I said that they didn't even win one in a row, as in the FIRST one. I never put myself out there predicting something so silly as that a team that was only 4-4 all year would win "at least 5 in a row" I just said that you would be eating a lot of crow. I knew at least THAT much about the NFL. I've never pretended to know what NFL execs were thinking except to say name one first round draft pick (in the last 25 years after bump and run coverage was outlawed) that averaged less than 1 touchdown pass per game. I'm thinking that you're still stinging from making such a silly prediction that even ocho sinco wouldn't have touched it. :thumb: :dancingpa

The post I quoted of yours was a response to you jumping in on Ram and LMB. I thought this was a two way discussion. From what I said, the FACT is UL is helping UK's SOS more than UK is helping UL. That you CAN NOT deny. But feel free to keep trying if you feel the need...

From what I said, the FACT is UL is helping UK's SOS more than UK is helping UL. That you CAN NOT deny. But feel free to keep trying if you feel the need... You need to read a little closer. I didn't jump in until you said what you did. I looked up the Sagarin ratings and UK is actually the 5th highest rated team on UL's schedule. They aren't the one bringing down UL's schedule. They are in fact rated higher than Miami. Either way it doesn't change the FACT that Brohm has thrown 6 touchdowns in 7 games and ranks 97th in the country in that respect.
November 14, 200619 yr Either way it doesn't change the FACT that Brohm has thrown 6 touchdowns in 7 games and ranks 97th in the country in that respect. Have you seen me dispute that? I didn't think so...
November 14, 200619 yr Have you seen me dispute that? I didn't think so... Hey--go back to the general discussion thread. I'm watching a movie and I've got a good one for you.
November 14, 200619 yr The reality on this one is what has happened this season is a UK fans dream based on the thoughts on Woodson and Brohm as the main option out of HS. I know a lot of you would hate this argument if it went in favor of one of my teams...
November 14, 200619 yr Personally, I could care less who is the quarterback for which team. I'm glad to see UL doing well (I just root for UK against them) and I'm really happy as a UK fan to see them becoming respectable again. The thing is you can only hang your hat on High School Rankings and intangibles so long. If people want to debate who will get drafted higher or have the better pro career we're just speculating and Brohm probably wins. If they want to compare who has been the better quarterback this year then Woodson wins hands down. The only stat that Brohm is superior in is yards per attempt and someone made the argument earlier that his 2 leading receivers lead the conference in yards per catch when defending his touchdown numbers. It would only stand to reason that he should be able to hit such rockets for more than the 6 touchdowns he has this year. After all Woodson has thrown more than 6 touchdowns to 2 different receivers. You know maybe we should be debating who has the better recievers because either Brohm isn't doing as much with superior receivers or he's doing better with inferior receivers--it has to be one or the other.

Either way I see you have no response to that. Perhaps you would like to predict the C-Inmates will run the table to the Super Bowl?
November 14, 200619 yr Fact: UK is above UL because they played UL Fact: UL is below UK because they played UK Then Brohms stats should be alot better than Woodsons considering UKs defense is dead last in the country and ULs defense is so good... As far as the Cards running so much in the red zone, then why did Cantwell have 5 passing TDs in 2 games and Brohm 6 in 7 games...
