November 12, 200619 yr Brohm also has more talent around him. Better offensive line helps a LOT! I think Brohm is a very good player but I think Woodson is just as good if not better. SO hundreds of college scouts thought that way...the NFL prognosticators too? HAHAHAHAHAHA Very enjoyable Sunday morning laugh..thank you.
November 12, 200619 yr Thats awful brave to throw that out after how uncomposed he has looked this year. As for Arm comparisons....not sure you're right on those......you may need to watch the way Woodson throws the ball. I think Brian has looked very composed almost all year...excluding one half against Rutgers when every QB in the land would've struggled mightily...you guys have a good one with Woodson, I will happily stick with Mr. Brian Brohm.
November 12, 200619 yr Whoa whoa whoa... Payton Manning....I dont kno about that one...:creepy: That's exactly who I would compare him with, at this time. Peyton has his struggles at times as well....Brian reads a game, very well.

As for the Woodson-Brohm debate, I do think Brohm is probably a little better, but you cant really tell unless you were to switch the 2 QBs and put Woodson at UL and Brohm at UK.
November 12, 200619 yr I think Peyton Manning is an exageration. And I think saying Woodson is as good or better (in a few cases) than Brohm is an exaggeration...If Woodson was playing like he was last year, would this even be a discussion?
November 12, 200619 yr I honestly feel that Brohm has underachieved this year, AND he's still better than Woodson, IMO. But I don't want to take away the improvement on Woodson's part. He's been doing great.

He has improved more in one season than almost any player I've seen. Brohm is certainly the more highly touted quarterback, but the numbers are hard to ignore. Louisville probably has more talented playmakers on their roster than Kentucky, but it seems to me like Woodson has put up the better numbers with possibly an inferior amount of talent around him and most certainly against a tougher schedule.

Please dont try to use numbers to compare a UK QB to the Next Peyton Manning.
November 12, 200619 yr Please dont try to use numbers to compare a UK QB to the Next Peyton Manning. WOW big statement there. I think as much I hate him Mannings arm is far and I mean far superior to Brohms. Brohm is headier than Woodson I"ll give you that........as for overall ability I will go with Woodson in the long run.

November 12, 200619 yr Trust me, I am not making the Brohm-Manning comparison like a couple of people are. Just checking. Manning is a once in a lifetime QB the way its looking.......just if he would win the big one!

I am more along the lines comparing them at the comparable ages...when Brohm is in his atletic prime, where Peyton is now...his arm strength will be even more. Brian Brohm is one of the top 2-3 QB's in the college ranks...bar none.

As for top two or three thats about right on talent maybe..........not for sure to me there aren't many good QB's in college this year.
