You do realize they’ve thrown for over 1000 yards each of the last two seasons, right. Trust me, Running a spread offense wouldn’t have changed the outcome of any game they’ve played during Wolley’s tenure. They have traditionally run a ton, not because they don’t like to throw, but because they’ve struggled on defense due to lack of depth. They’ve needed to be run heavy to control the football to keep the D off the field since so many guys go both ways. Plus they have had a bunch of really good backs, and not a ton of outside threats outside of Nelson Perrin. This will likely change some next year with some of the sophomore class coming up, but they’ll still have Quincy Perrin, and will be run heavy regardless of who coaches.

Rumor has it open enrollment will be ending in Kenton Co. Maybe once they do that Scott will keep some of those kids. Obviously doesn't stop them from going to Beechwood or Covcath. Good luck to the new coach! Hopefully he can keep the trend going up for Scott football!

It was meant as a joke. Still with the weather here and the great distance.

This job is very, very attractive. I wish I was in a position to apply for it because the facilities are top notch and a decent foundation is there with the community to try and keep those players that live in the Scott district right there. I could see coaches coming from far and wide to Scott.

The location and facilities make Scott a very attractive destination for a coach. The district isn’t as tough as 5A and 6A in NKY so winning should come quicker.

Shocking to some, but in a time of dwindling education dollars spring football, etc, isn’t the top concern of those hiring. Assistants can run offseason programs while a principal may wait until closer to allocations to avoid putting themself in a bad spot.

I'd have to disagree with this. There are plenty of quality coaches in the area and out of the area that would wait for this job.
