Entertaining game.

This one surprises me!

[h=3]Raceland/Somerset Updates[/h]

Big RAM win! Questionable offensive calls in the last quarter for the Rams but did what they needed to do for the W. Refs seemed a bit confused at times and couldn’t make up their minds. Congratulations to the Rams! Big Win.

Congrats to the Rams. This is a nice road win for the Rams.

Front 7 for Raceland played a really good game. Made it hard to run, especially early in the game.

Great game. Congratulations Rams!

Turnovers cost Somerset this game. Fumbled punt led to a short field TD and a pick 6 late gave them an 8 point lead.

Congratulations to Raceland. It is great to see the 1A teams getting big wins.

Wow, what a game. I got to watch this one on the LCS station lmk. Somerset fans …. if you know those guys, tell them thank you. Officiating was sketchy at best. I'm not talking about blatant bias, was just bad going both ways.

The Rams defense imo won this game for us tonight and the Jumper defense is very good as well. Our offense hasn't been throttled like that in a long time. I am thrilled to get out with a win.

Somerset .. your team plays hard on every snap and that's imo a reflection on your coach and program. As I said before, you are some good people . Good luck the rest of the way and in the playoffs.

Good, hard fought game. Both offenses made some mistakes but the defense were largely responsible for that. Raceland gave Somerset a 2nd life by trying to pass late and it looked like the Jumpers were going to force overtime after scoring and getting a 2pt conversion. A very poor call on a nice block during a scramble nullified the play. I could see it being called if it were a blind side hit, if he'd have hit him in the head or if the defender were out of the play. However, if he doesn't make that block the defender hits the quarterback. That being said, I thought the Rams got hosed when they had a beautiful 98 yard pass called back. Poor night for the officials but a great game that should help both teams going forward.

It might not be one for the time capsule, but Raceland went a long way from home and beat a good team. Good win.

Congratulations to Raceland on the win.

Congratulations to the Rams

Any word on whether or not this series is going to continue? I know there's a lot of travel involved, but from a competitive standpoint, this series has been a great pickup for both schools.
