Could it be a National Championship year in G-town?

:thumb: Very well could be KT, a national NAIA title is always the goal at G-Town. Happy Osborne has one heck of a basketball program. Even if it was an pre season game........Man how sweet would it had been if the Tigers would have won this one. Great job by Georgetown.:ylsuper:

I'm confused at those saying "Good Win"

Can I assume GTown is 40 points better than NKU??? :D

Wow, that was a close game! Georgetown really played them tough. How did Silverhorn do? I remember playing highschool ball against him. In hs he was really skinny, but now hes a beast! I bet this was a pretty entertaining game to watch.

Box Score

11-for-27 3pt shooting seemed to be what the biggest factor for Georgetown was. They hung with the Cards on the boards, 44-39.

Well, that would make you and me look like … something.

5 guys in double figures for G-Town is a great sign! I have said this before, but I think the Mid-South Conference is the premier league for Basketball in the NAIA! I can't wait to make it out to some games this year!

How any UoL b-ball fan could be pleased with a 2 point victory over an NAIA school is beyond me!

It could get ugly for the Cards this season.

That's just their way of putting a positive spin on things.

You will have to endure endless meaningless stats the rest of the season for G-Town.

and also receive constant updates on the team from G-Town on how well they are playing against far superior teams from Cards fans.

you will see things now like:

How good G-Town really is

How they were really getting time for their freshman

and the big one will be .......How badly UK would perform against a team from G-town and in all probabilty will lose

UL looks to be NIT bound again.

Good grief. I can see now that it's going to be another season of Cards bashing from the UK fans, and vice versa. How much fun this time of year must be for some of you. It was a scrimmage game for goodness sakes. UofL was without two of it's top players in Padgett and Jenkins. It sure looks like they got one heck of a game from their big Freshman. I'm pretty sure that the Cards will do just fine this year. I'm certain that come December 16th your view of the Cards will change.

Gotta love UK fans...UofL was without their starting 2-man and their starting center...4 FRESHMEN were on the court the majority of the night. Georgetown is a very good, seasoned ball club that will more than likely win the NAIA this season.

Whats wrong guys, cant find anything to dog on our football team about, so you gotta start on the Bball team after a WIN in our FIRST EXHIBITION game??   As RP would say, I love it...

I agree. No is calling for this UofL team to be world beaters at the start. Georgetown didn't look like a NAIA team with 5 former D-1 players on it and they played to win last night. I as a Cardinal fan never really thought we would lose this game, when we needed to score they couldn't stop us, however on the flip side we didn't play defense worth a hoot. I blame his on team chemistry on the defensive side, lack of experianced players, and the other team (other teams can actually make plays).

A lot of players got experiance, close game experiance, that boosts confidance in thier ability. I have not problem with winning every game by two.

How did Surgalski from Ashland Blazer look?

His name wasn't in the box score. Is he injured?
